Although there are many different thoughts on who really wrote Shakespeare or not, many sources can prove that William Shakespeare did infact write Shakespeare.

The best piece of evidence found that proves William Shakespeare wrote Shakespeare is that William Shakespeare, from Stratford-upon-Avon, wrote the plays and was also an actor in them. Shakespeare, however, did not play big parts in them. Shakespeare was an actor in these plays because he was a member of Lord Chainberlins Men, the local acting club. Many people say that Shakespeare could not of written the plays attributed to him because he only lived in a small town, so he did not have the experience of what was in his writings. But because he was in the acting club, he knew what people did and didn’t like to see in plays, which helped him to succeed in his own writing.

The next best piece of evidence is that William Shakespeare is a real person and he was closely connected to the plays. There’s no record that there was ever a pseudonym used or suspected. Few people think that someone else wrote the plays and gave William Shakespeare the credit for the plays and sonnets, but if they knew how much attention William Shakespeare was getting they wouldn’t have let him take all the fame and credit for it.

Lastly, like mentioned earlier, many people think that someone wrote the plays and gave William Shakespeare credit for them. But there is one piece of evidence to prove that this is not true; On the bottom of each sonnet and play written, there was a name similar to William Shakespeare’s name. It has been proven that the name on the plays and sonnet matches exactly to the name of William Shakespeare, from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is pretty clear that William Shakespeare and William Shakespeare from Stratford-upon-Avon is the same person.

Many people think different things about who really wrote Shakespeare. It may never really be proven who actually wrote it and who didn’t. But coming from all of the evidence found that William Shakespeare, from Stratford-upon-Avon, was the real author of Shakespeare.

Three reasons that Shakespeare cannot be the author of the plays that he has clamed to write.

1. Francis Bacon: an analysis of the centring on textual comparison between Bacon's known writings and the plays. It was discovered that the references that were made to the Bible, the law, and the classics were about the same in the works of Shakespeare and Bacon.

2. Edward de Vere, earl of Oxford: his known poems apparently stoped just before Shakespeare's work began to appear. It is argued that Oxford became also known as Shakespeare in order to protect his family from the social stigma then attached to the stage.

3. Christopher Marlowe: he was not killed in a tavern brawl in 1593 (the corpse was not his) but was smuggled to France and thence to Italy where he continued to write in exile--his plays being showed off as Shakespeare’s because Shakespeare was paid to keep silent.
